Troika St Ives Marmalade vase decorated by Anne Lewis. Anne Lewis started working at the Troika pottery from 1969 when it was based in St Ives. She was a decorator there until she left in 1972 after it had moved to Newlyn in Cornwall. This Troika vase is decorated with blue roundels on an oatmeal coloured background on each side and then finished with a deep blue glazed top. It stands approximately 9cm tall and is 8cm square.

On its base, this Troika Marmalade vase has the black painted Troika pottery mark, Troika St Ives England, and the initials AL for decorator Anne Lewis. This piece was made when the pottery was based in St Ives in Cornwall, England. Based on this and the fact that the decorator of this piece is Anne Lewis it can be dated to c1969-1970.

Condition: Excellent overall condition. A lovely early Troika Marmalade vase.
