A superb blue Troika pottery Marmalade vase decorated by Penny Black (later Roland). Penny Black worked at the Cornish pottery from the 1960's until 1976 - so she was there when it moved from St Ives to Newlyn, in Cornwall, England. This Troika vase has been decorated all over with a pale blue wash with bits of the pattern picked out in glaze finsihed with a deep glazed rounded top.

On the base of this Troika vase is the black painted Troika pottery mark, Troika Cornwall, and the decorator's initials PB for Penny Black. It can be dated c1970-1976.

Condition: Excellent overall condition. A superb coloured light blue Troika Pottery Marmalade vase.
