A Troika Marmalade vase from the Troika pottery textured range. This vase has been decorated by Troika artist Penny Black (later Roland). Penny Black worked at Troika Pottery from the 1960's until 1976. This particular piece of Troika was made when the pottery were based in Newlyn in Cornwall. It has abstract designs on all four sides with one side having an interesting stick man pattern. It is finished off with a deep blue glazed top.

On the base of this Marmalade vase is the Troika pottery black painted pottery mark, Troika Cornwall, and the decorators mark PB for Penny Black. It can be dated to c1970-1976.

Condition: Excellent overall condition. A super Troika Marmalade vase from this collectable Cornish pottery.
