ITEM P882 - Uncle Soames - PenDelfin Uncle Soames Designed By Jean Walmsley Heap

SOLD Dec 2016

Early PenDelfin rabbit Uncle Soames designed by Jean Walmsley Heap. The PenDelfin Uncle Soames was produced by the PenDelfin Studios in Burnley, England, from c1959 until 1985. He is a large PenDelfin rabbit. This example of Uncle Soames is wearing a caramel coloured waistcoat with a very fancy matching cravat. This is an earlier example of the Uncle Soames model as he has lovely long elongated ears.

On his base this large PenDelfin has his green felt and PenDelfin artist palette, Uncle Soames, label.

Condition: Good overall condition. He has some paint touch-ups and a couple of nibbles but is a lovely early example. Great to keep Aunt Agatha company!
