Poole Pottery Freeform range peanut shaped vase decorated in Poole pattern PKT. The Poole Pottery PKT pattern was designed by Alfred Read in c1954. This particular vase has been decorated by Gwen Haskins (Lynch) who worked at the Poole Pottery from c1938 until c1977. It is Poole shape number 699 standing approximately 7¾" tall and is often referred to as a Peanut vase - because of its shape!

On the base of this Poole Pottery vase is the Poole Pottery black stamped dolphin pottery mark that was in use from c1959-1967, and the decorator and pattern code X|PKT. This indicates it was decorated by Gwen Haskins and is pattern code PKT. This particular Poole vase can be dated to c1959-1967.

Condition: Good overall display condition. It does have a fine crack to the rim - pictured. A nicely patterned Poole vase on an atrractive shape.
