Pottery Collector's Guide: Identifying Marks & Buying Tips

Collecting antique and collectable pottery is not always as easy as it might seem. We've all made mistakes at some point and accurately identifying and understanding the condition of pieces of pottery does require some experience.

To help you expand your skills and your collection without making too many costly mistakes, we have put together a set of guides and other information that we have built up over our years of buying and selling British Pottery. We've also gathered together details of the pottery marks on the bases of many of the pieces we've sold over the years, together with details of the pieces themselves and when they were sold.
