This Marmalade vase belongs to the textured range of pieces that the Cornish pottery designed. It is one of the smaller shapes Troika produced making it accessible to all collectors.
This particular Troika vase has been decorated by Linda Taylor who joined the pottery in the late 1960’s when it was based in St. Ives in Cornwall, England. She continued to work for the pottery through their move to Newlyn in 1970 and subsequently left the pottery in the early 1970’s.
Decorated in tones of brown with the abstract decoration picked out in bold colours this marmalade vase is a super example of this classic Troika pottery shape.
