Starting tomorrow, Tuesday 3rd February 2009, for two days is the Swinderby Antique Fair at RAF Swinderby organised by Arthur Swallow Fairs.
This usually large antique fair offers a wide range of antiques, collectables and furniture, and with ample free parking and a free courtesy bus from Newark it’s very easy to visit.
The Swinderby antique fair opens at 7am on Tuesday 3rd February 2009 and entrance costs £15 all day. If you’re after a cheaper day out then on Wednesday 4th February entrance is only £2.50 all day and the fair opens at 8am. Do beware though that often in bad weather some stallholders may start packing away earlier on the Wednesday!
This is a popular event for buyers and sellers with it preceding the giant Newark International Antique Fair on Thursday 5th & Friday 6th February 2009, so is often a good place to spot pieces before they turn up at Newark!
See Arthur Swallow Fairs website for full details of this antique fair.
