This particular Troika slab vase has blue glazed sides with a textured front and back. It has been decorated by Marilyn Pascoe. Marilyn started work at the Cornish pottery in the late 1960’s when it was based in Newlyn in Cornwall. The pottery moved to Newlyn in Cornwall in 1970 and Marilyn remained working at it until c1974. This vase has the black painted pottery mark, Troika Cornwall England, on its base so in combination with when Marilyn Pascoe worked there we can date this Troika vase to c1970-1974.
We have a wide selection of Troika pottery vases for sale including Troika coffin vases, Troika cube vases and a couple of Troika lamp bases so there is plenty of choice for that unusual Christmas present if you’re after something for a pottery collector!
