Troika Wheel Lamp Base
This is a Troika pottery medium wheel lamp base decorated predominantly in blue with a strong abstract design on both sides really making it stand out. This Troika piece was produced when the Cornish Troika pottery was based in Newlyn in Cornwall, England and dates to the c1970′s.
A perfect Christmas gift for any Troika collector that is actually usable in the home today as well! All it requires is its electrical fitting and a shade and then it would be set to light up any room!

The latest addition to the Perfect Pieces Troika pottery section is this very bright and colourful Troika pottery small wheel vase:

This vase has been decorated with a bright blue base with the abstract decoration picked out in contrasting colours. It has been decorated by the well-known Marilyn Pascoe who worked at the pottery when they were originally based in St Ives and moved with them to Newlyn in Cornwall, England.
This piece is from the Newyln period of Troika and can be dated c1970-1974.

All these pieces are in excellent condition and display the black painted Troika pottery mark on their bases which was in use by the pottery when they were based in Newlyn, Cornwall, during the 1970′s and 1980′s. Each one is decorated by a different Troika decorator and show a small section of the range that the Troika pottery produced during its 20 years.
