Troika Pottery Cube Vases – Interesting Designs

In our Troika pottery section we have some really interesting Troika pottery Cube vases – pictured below.

The first one pictured is an early example of a Troika Cube vase. Dating from the St Ives period (pre-1970) this vase has the typical decoration of pieces of that time. This example has been decorated by Sylvia Vallence who worked at the pottery from c1967-1969.

Next is a Troika cube vase from the textured range decorated by Penny Black. This particular Troika vase is slightly later dating c1970-1976.

The third Troika Cube vase is one decorated in a blue base by Linda Taylor. Linda worked at the pottery from the late 1960’s to the early 1970’s. This particular piece dates from the Newlyn period – dating it early 1970’s.

The final Troika Cube vase has been decorated in green this time by Anne Jones. Anne only worked at the pottery for a short time and only part time from 1976-1977. This particular example has an almost oriental motif on one side.

Here you can see the wide range of different styles and colours available in just the Troika Cube vase. Remember, all Troika pottery prices currently include FREE UK postage & packaging!

Striking Troika Pottery Cube Vase & Tall Troika Rectangular Vase

New additions to our Troika pottery section today are a striking blue Troika cube vase and a tall and imposing Troika rectangular vase, pictured below.

The Troika cube vase has been fully decorated with a blue base and abstract decoration picked out in co-ordinating colours, by Troika decorator Teo Bernatowitz. Teo only worked at the pottery for around 18 months around 1974 so her work is highyl collected.

The Troika rectangular vase has been decorated by Louise Jinks. With a stunning abstract decoration picked out with a green base and strong blues this is an imposing vase with very striking decoration.

New to the Perfect Pieces Troika pottery section is this stunning blue Troika pottery cube vase from the textured range that the Troika pottery produced.

This full-coloured Troika vase is known as a Cube vase. It has been decorated by the collectable Ann Lewis who only worked at the pottery from 1966 until 1972. She was with the Troika pottery when they were based in St. Ives in Cornwall and moved with them to their new premises in Newlyn in 1970.

Decorated with a vivid blue base this cube shaped vase is very striking and the unusual abstract decoration is picked out very well against the blue base of the vase.

Early Troika St Ives Glazed Cube Vase

Filed under: New Stock, Troika — Tags: , — Tess @ 7:30 pm

Often overlooked, Troika’s smooth-glazed ware can be very appealing. Take this early smooth glazed Troika pottery cube vase from the St Ives period:

This cube vase is quite different to the cube vases from Troika’s textured range. It is simple in design but very modern – not dissimilar in some ways to the style and attraction of Wedgwood’s Keith Murray pieces. Decorated with a brown glaze and white circle on each side, it has a certain appeal to it and really catches the eye when it’s placed among pieces of Troika from the textured range.

This cube vase is an early example, made when the Troika pottery was based in St Ives, Cornwall – before they moved to Newlyn in 1970. It dates from the mid to late 1960s and has the rather nice type printed Troika St Ives England pottery mark.

Unusual Troika Pottery Fish & Palm Tree Design!

In our Troika section we have a new Troika pottery cube vase with a most unusual pattern.

This cube vase has a striking blue base with abstract designs on two sides, a fish pattern on one side and a palm tree design on another side! Quite an unusual and attractive design.

It has been decorated by Vicky Drew. Vicky Drew worked at the Cornish pottery through a Youth Training Scheme and was only there for six months so you don’t often come across her pieces so it makes it especially nice that it is such a striking pattern as well.
