A new addition to the Royal Doulton section of the Perfect Pieces website is this stunning and large limited edition Royal Doulton Jintan vase:

This is a Royal Doulton Burslem Artwares Jintan vase, model number BA19 decorated with an Oriental Sung glaze that pays tribute to the flambe glazes that Doulton created in the early 20th century. These in turn were based on the glazes developed by ancient Chinese potters that had long remained a mystery to European potters.
Each piece is hand-made making it unique and is a stunning rich red in colour. This vase was produced by Royal Doulton in a limited number of 350 – this particular example is number 136, and comes with its original certificate.

The latest addition to the Perfect Pieces Royal Doulton pottery section is this stunning limited edition Royal Doulton Burslem Artwares Nanjing bowl:

This bowl was produced by the Royal Doulton factory around the year 2000 and is from the Burslem Archives collection made in a limited number of only 350 – this example is number 59. It is an impressive Royal Doulton Archives piece decorated with a red and black abstract oriental pattern.
It is a large and heavy piece of Doulton pottery measuring around 8″ in diameter and 6″ deep allowing the design to display superbly around the outside and inside of the bowl.

The first is a Royal Doulton Brambly Hedge figurine called Heading Home. This is model DBH 48 from the Spring Story series and comes in her original Royal Doulton Brambly Hedge box. It features a lady mouse pushing a wheel barrow home with a little mouse inside! A perfect gift for any collector or young child.
The second figurine above is a Royal Doulton figurine called Symphony. This is model number HN2287 originally produced in the early 1960′s. This is a figure of a lady sitting down in a caramel coloured dress strumming along on her instrument.

We have just added two Brambly Hedge figurines to our Royal Doulton figurines section.


These figurines are made by Royal Doulton and belong to the Brambly Hedge collection. They both have their original boxes which is an important feature for any collector.
The first is called Flax Weaver and is model number DBH 55. The Brambly Hedge Flax Weaver is from the High Hills collection and is style two – click here for further details.

From the Royal Doulton’s Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs range this figurine is model number SW20 and called Grumpy’s Bathtime – Grumpy has been forced into the bath and is being washed by some of his fellow dwarfs!
Issued in 1999 this particular figurine is number 2452 – shown on the base of the model alongside the Royal Doulton pottery mark.

In our Royal Doulton pottery section we currently have this stunning Royal Doulton stoneware vase.

Founded in the mid 1800′s, Royal Doulton is renowned for its good quality and design – characteristics which have won the company generations of loyal collectors.
This impressive vase stands just over 10″ tall and is decorated with trailing flowers flowing down the body of the base. Fully marked to the base this piece of Royal Doulton pottery dates from around 1919 and is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau style that was so popular early in the 20th century.

The adorable Winnie The Pooh continues to capture people’s hearts along with his friends Piglet, Eeyore, Owl and of course Christopher Robin. Royal Doulton produced a range of china Disney figurines and this particular one, I’ve Found Somebody Just Like Me, is Royal Doulton model number WP22. It was produced as part of the Winnie The Pooh Royal Doulton Series in 1999 and is a limited edition of only 5,000 pieces. The model comes complete with its matching wooden base that the figurine stands on.

As if the news of 346 impending redundancies wasn’t bad enough, the Wedgwood factory suffered an expensive break-in on Friday, with an estimated £180,000 of wares stolen.
A considerable number of Wedgwood and Royal Doulton Prestige wares were stolen (Royal Doulton is part of the Wedgwood group).
