This PenDelfin Thin Neck mother is dressed in blue and has the very early and collectable PenDelfin butterfly label to her base. Only produced around 1956 this is a rare and early example of the PenDelfin Mother rabbit. Later models had smaller ears and fatter necks!
The PenDelfin Dungaree father next to her was designed by PenDelfin founder Jean Walmsley Heap. This example is wearing blue dungarees and also has the early and collectable PenDelfin gilt butterfly label to his base.

This PenDelfin Mother is the fat neck version with big ears and well-designed features. Dating from 1956 until 1978 it is one of the earlier PenDelfin rabbits and she stands well among all her little bunny rabbits!
The PenDelfin Kipper Tie Father rabbit was designed by PenDelfin founder Jean Walmsley Heap and is the second version of father rabbit that PenDelfin produced. He dates from 1960 to 1970 and has the the typical characteristics of the early PenDelfin rabbits – the big ears and big eyes!
Both these PenDelfin rabbits have at some point been repainted but they display very nicely as you’ll see in the photographs!

They both have their green felt and PenDelfin labels to their bases. At some point they have been repainted by their owner and still display very nicely. They could be added to a current PenDelfin collection or indeed sent to the PenDelfin refurbishers to be taken back and restored.

If you take a look at our PenDelfin rabbit section you’ll see a whole host of rabbits and accessories ranging from small and large rabbits to books and display stands. The PenDelfin rabbit family have been entertaining people since the 1950′s and continue to do so today.
If you’re look at building up your own PenDelfin family then you’ll need a mother and father, aunt and uncle some shops and houses and of course some little rabbits to get you started!

To get you started I have included below some pictures of the first PenDelfin Mother and PenDelfin Father. Over the years these rabbits were remodelled and different versions were produced making this pair the earliest.
