The latest addition to our Troika pottery section is this stunning and extremely rare GIANT Troika pottery wheel vase.

The Troika pottery made a range of different sized wheel vases – this is the largest and the rarest. Measuring approximately 13″ in diameter is stands well above the small wheel vase at 6.5″ tall!

This particular giant wheel vase has been decorated by Jane Fitzgerald who worked at the Cornish pottery from 1976 until 1983. On one side this vase has the very collectable body parts pattern making it even more desirable! With the design picked our in contrasting colours of brown, green, orange and white it really would be a striking piece in any Troika collection.

We’ve recently acquired this superb piece and will be listing it for sale soon. It features the collectable body parts design and was decorated by Jane Fitzgerald, dating it to around 1976 to 1983.
The Troika pottery made the popular wheel vase in five sizes – small, medium, large, huge and giant! They range in size from approximately 4.5″ tall to a massive 13″ tall – this being the giant.

The giant wheel vase measures approximately 13″ tall and just over 13″ wide. Due to its size it wasn’t made in huge numbers and is rarely seen on the secondary market.

A recent addition to our Troika pottery section is this superb Troika pottery square dish with textured decoration around the edge and a brown glazed bottom.

This dish has been decorated by the Troika decorator Jane Fitzgerald. Jane worked at the pottery after they had moved from St Ives to Newlyn in Cornwall. In tones of brown the abstract decoration around the edge is picked out in coloured glazed squares.
This textured piece of Troika makes an interesting alternative to the more commonly-seen Troika vases.
