This Troika vase is heavily coloured in blue and green and was decorated by Jane Fitzgerald who worked at the pottery when it was based in Newlyn in Cornwall, England. The Troika Marmalade vase is a popular shape of Troika Pottery combining textured sides with a smooth glazed rounded top.
This will probably be our final addition to our stock before Christmas. Originally traced back to the early 1800′s the Denby Pottery is still thriving today from its site in Denby, Derbyshire. You can visit the pottery where you’ll find the factory, several gift shops, a small exhibition, a children’s playground and of course a cafe! There is also a shop where you can buy new pieces of Denby Pottery as well as a seconds shop if you want to pick up a piece slightly cheaper.
There’s plenty of on-site free parking and it is signposted well so is very easy to find. If you do visit do leave us a comment below letting is know your thoughts – what you thought of the site and of the new ranges that Denby are producing today.

The PenDelfin Christmas Scene was made in a limited number of only 2000 for the USA and Canadian collectors market, c1985-1986. The set consists of a Christmas themed PenDelfin Cobble Cottage which sits on a Lantern Stand base and three Christmas dressed PenDelfin rabbits – Clanger, Jingle and Solo, all merrily singing away under a lit black lantern!

Troika Pottery Cube Vase by Anne Lewis
This is a textured Troika pottery cube from the Newlyn period. Decorated by Anne Lewis it can be dated to c1970-1972. This Troika pottery vase has been decorated with an oatmeal brown base with the interesting abstract design picked out in deep vivid blues. One side has the desirable helmet pattern boldly highlighted in deep blue glazes.
