This coming Tuesday, 6th October 2009, is the start of the two-day Lincolnshire Antiques and Home Show (Formerly known as Swinderby Antiques Fair) freshly relocated from RAF Swinderby to the Lincolnshire Showground.
Easily reached, the Lincolnshire Showground is situated just on the outskirts of Lincoln city and close to the A1.
The fair opens at 7am on Tuesday when admission is £15 all day to adults. On Wednesday the fair opens at 8am and admission is reduced to £2.50.
It’s certainly worth having a wander around this newly located fair if you’re in the area. With such new modern facilities it will certainly be a change from the old disused airfield!

The famous Swinderby Antiques Fair held at the disused RAF Swinderby airfield is to be relocated to Lincolnshire Showground as of the next fair, 6th & 7th October 2009.
Organised by Arthur Swallow Fairs they see the move to Lincolnshire Showground as a positive step. With newly renovated buildings the Lincolnshire Showground offers modern new facilities and is only 10 miles away from Swinderby so will be similar distance to all existing stallholders and visitors.

This coming Tuesday, 4th August 2009, it’s the massive two-day Swinderby Antiques Fair organised by Arthur Swallow Fairs.
The fair opens on Tuesday at 7am and entrance for adults is £15. Wednesday the fair opens slightly later at 8am (!) and admission is reduced to £2.50 all day. There is usually a huge collection of antiques and collectables from all areas at this fair. It is outdoor and in marquees so if it carries on raining you might need your wellies!
There is now a free courtesy bus run from Newark to the fair so if you’re staying in Newark for the Newark International Antiques Fair then it’s easy to get to Swinderby for a wander. For details click here.

It opens its doors at 7am on Tuesday 2nd June 2009 and runs until 6pm the first day. The entrance fee is £15 all day for Adults on day one. On the second day, Wednesday 3rd June 2009, the fairs opens at 8am until 4pm and the entrance fee is £2.50 all day.
