This weekend, Saturday 31st July & Sunday 1st August 2010, it’s time for the Giant Wetherby Racecourse Antiques Fair organised by Jaguar Fairs.
This antiques fair is based within and around the new exhibition centre at Wetherby Racecourse near Wetherby in North Yorkshire. There are good facilities within the building, and plenty of space to shelter should it rain!
The fair opens at 8am on Saturday when admission is £4. This reduces to £3 at 9am for the rest of the the weekend. The racecourse is easy to find and there is plenty of free parking on-site.
Here’s hoping for good weather then there will be sure to be a good mix of outside stalls as well!

This coming Tuesday, 20th July 2010, sees the start of the two-day Ardingly IACF International Antique & Collectors Fair.
This antiques fair is organised by IACF International Antique & Collectors Fair and is regarded as one of the largest antique fairs in the south of England. It is located at the South of England Showground at Ardingly near Haywards Heath in West Sussex and currently happens six times a year.
Admission on Tuesday is from 9am and costs £20 for adults – this allows entry on the Wednesday as well. Wednesday admission is from 8am and costs £5 per adult. The fair is scheduled to close at 4pm on Wednesday.
This antique fair can host upto 1,700 stalls within buildings on site and on outside pitches. It usually offers a wide mix of items to buyers including furniture, ceramics, silver, jewellery and glass.

This coming Monday, 5th July 2010, is the one-day Swinderby IACF International Antique & Collectors Fair located at RAF Swinderby at Swinderby near Lincoln.
Organised by IACF International Antiques & Collectors Fair, this antiques fair is described as “Newark’s sister event“. Organised to happen four times this year it will be interesting to see how it is received so do let us know what you thought about this one-day Swinderby fair.
Stallholders will be allowed entry to set-up and trade buyers will be admitted for buying together from 8am – trade admission is £10. Public buyers will be admitted from 10am when admission is £5. The fair will close at 4pm.
Handily located near the main A1 route this antique fair is easy to find and has ample parking.

This Monday, 28th June 2010, is the Newbury IACF International Antique & Collectors Fair at Newbury Racecourse at Newbury in Berkshire.
This is a new one-day event added to the IACF’s calendar with a second date scheduled in for Monday 2nd August 2010. Easily accessible from the M4 it is very handily located. Early buyers will be admitted from 8am when admission is £10 for adults. From 10am admission is reduced to £5 for adults. The fair is scheduled to close at 4pm.

This antiques fair is based within the Bingley Hall at the Staffordshire County Showground. The hall is easy to find with good facilities and plenty of parking outside for visitors.
There is usually a good selection of quality items on sale at this well-established antique fair. It is in a brightly lit hall that has a flat solid ground with wide aisles making viewing of stalls very accessible and pleasant.

This Friday, 18th June 2010, is the start of the three-day Antiques In The Park antiques event at Kedleston Hall in Derbyshire.
This antiques fair is organised by Jaguar Fairs who also organise the Giant Wetherby Racecourse antique fair and the Derby University antiques fair.
Based in and outside of marquees on the parkland next to Kedleston Hall this antiques fair is in a lovely location. There is ample free parking and the site is pretty easy to find. You’ll discover a whole range of items on offer and a good selection of outside stalls as well – especially if it’s nice weather!
Admission is from 8am on Friday, 18th June, and from 9am on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th June.

This Thursday, 10th June 2010, is the start of the two-day Newark IACF International Antiques & Collectors Fair at the Newark & Nottinghamshire Showground near Newark.
This antiques fair is regarded as Europe’s largest antiques event with upto 4000 stalls dotted in buildings and around the showground. With well connected road networks near by and ample free parking this fair has good facilities with plenty of toilets and food facilities within the fair.
You’ll find a whole range of items on offer ranging from antique furniture, paintings, pottery, ceramics, glass, silver, jewellery to modern collectables, books & burgers!
Entry on Thursday allows you free entry on the Friday as well just in case you didn’t complete your buying on the Thursday!

This Tuesday, 8th June 2010, is the start of the two-day Lincolnshire Antiques & Home Show event at the Lincolnshire Showground, so if you’re in the area why not have a wander around?
This fair is organised by Arthur Swallow Fairs and usually has a range of items on offer from antiques, collectables, reclamation items, modern collectable to reproduction and shabby chic items.
The show opens at 7am on Tuesday 8th June when admission is £20 all day. On Wednesday 9th June it opens slightly later at 8am (!) until 4pm when admission is only £2.50.
