A date for your diary is the 4th and 5th of December 2008 which is the last Newark International Antique & Collectors Fair of 2008.
Organised by DMG Antique Fairs Newark is one of the largest antique fairs in the UK housing hundreds of indoor and outdoor stalls which offer a huge range of goods from pottery and ceramics to fine furniture and other architectural ware.
At this December Newark fair DMG are offering a reduced special winter rate for Trade buyers with entry on the Thursday only £10, Friday being the normal rate of £5.

Just a reminder that it’s the Shepton Mallet Antique Fair this coming Friday, 14th November 2008. This three-day antique fair runs until Sunday 16th November at the Royal Bath & West Showground.
Organised by DMG Antique Fairs it’s classed as one of the largest fairs in the area, so it’s always worth a wander around if you’re in the area.

It’s soon time for the final 2008 Shepton Mallet Antiques & Collectors Fair organised by DMG Antique Fairs. This fair at the Royal Bath & West Showground takes place from Friday 14th November until Sunday 16 November 2008, and is the last one there this year.
One of the largest antique fairs in the area, the Shepton Antique & Collectors Fair has hundreds of indoor and outdoor stalls offering a wide range of goods from small ceramics and collectibles to large furniture and other interior and exterior goods.

Don’t forget if you’re in the Harrogate area it’s the Great Northern International Antiques Fair this weekend at the Great Yorkshire Showground near Harrogate. Running for three days from Friday 7th November 2008 this fair usually offers a decent mix of items for sale and has indoor as well as outdoor stalls.

There is a new Antique Fair scheduled to go ahead this Sunday, 2nd November 2008. The new venue is the Gemtec Arena in Hull next to the KC Stadium. This fair has been organised by long-established Dualco Promotions who also organise the Doncaster Racecourse Antique Fair.
Given the current economic climate, it’s quite exciting to hear about a new Antique Fair starting up. Dualco have a good reputation for creating solid, well-attended fairs, so this event might well be worth a visit.
The fair is expected to be quite large, with up to 230 stands hosted inside the arena, which is a purpose-built hall within the football ground. We’ll be going along to see what it’s like - if you go too then do drop us a line and let us know what you thought about it.

On Friday November 7th 2008 it’s time for the Great Northern International Antiques Fair at the Great Yorkshire Showground near Harrogate. This antique fair is organised by Grosvenor Exhibitions.
This antique fair usually offers a wide mix of goods and runs for three days until Sunday 9th November. Based within the showground building it offers sheltered viewing of all the stock, and if you’re brave enough to venture to outside in this chilly weather there are usually a mix of outdoor stalls as well.
With ample free parking, a cafe offering all sorts of food and drink and decent facilities it is quite a pleasant fair to wander around.

Just a reminder that it’s the Antiques For Everyone Antique Fair this week, starting on Thursday 30th November 2008 in Halls 17-19 at the NEC Birmingham.
This Antique Fair runs for four days until Sunday 2nd November and is the UK’s largest indoor fully date-lined antique fair so you’re assured of a good quality mix of art and antiques. With more than 50,000 antiques on show even if you’re not buying it’s interesting to wander around and see items you would not normally be able to view at antique fairs.

As an alternative to the Giant Wetherby Antiques Fair this weekend (Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October 2008) why not visit the Detling Antiques & Collectors Fair in Kent?
Located at the Kent County Showground it is classed as one of the main antique fairs in the area. Based in two buildings and up to 30 shopping arcades it can host up to 500 stalls of goodies to search through!
The fair runs from 8.30am on Saturday until 4pm on Sunday and costs £6 first thing on Saturday then £4 from 10am on Saturday onwards.
The Detling Antique Fair is organised by DMG Antique Fairs who also operate the Newark International Antiques & Collectors Fair, Ardingly International Antiques & Collectors Fair and Shepton Mallet Antiques & Collectors Fair.

It’s time for the giant Wetherby Racecourse Antique & Collectors Fair this weekend (Saturday & Sunday 25th and 26th October 2008) if you’re in the area.
The fairs runs from 8am on Saturday until 5pm on Sunday and is operated by Jaguar Fairs. The weather forecast isn’t too bad and now a lot of the stalls are in the new Racecourse buildings there are plenty of places to take cover from the wind and rain!
