Newark International Antiques Fair, 6th-7th August 2009
This Thursday and Friday, 6th & 7th August 2009, it’s time for one of the largest antiques events in the UK – the Newark International Antiques & Collectors Fair.
Organised by DMG Antique Fairs this fair takes place at the Newark and Nottinghamshire Showground which is approximately only 2 hours from London. It’s easy to find with plenty of sign posts and being right next to the A1 you can hardly miss it!
The fair opens on Thursday 6th August 2009 at 9am and admission for adults is £20 – this does allow free entry on Friday as well. On Friday the fair opens at 8am and admission for adults is reduced to £5.
With usually a large turn out of stallholders and buyers there’s is often a good mix of items for sale from all types of furniture, pottery, glass, silver to specialist collectables such as post cards and militaria.
