Troika Pottery Pottery Marks

• Impressed Troika pottery trident seal. This was the first pottery mark used by the Troika pottery and was often used in conjunction with the black painted words Troika St Ives. It dates c1963 to 1965.
• Troika St Ives painted pottery mark in black, c1964-1970.
• Troika St Ives England painted backstamp in black, c1964-1970.
• Troika pottery Newlyn mark in black, c1970-1983.
• Troika Pottery St Ives black ink printed stamp mark. This backstamp was in use by Troika while they were based in St. Ives from 1964.
• Troika Cornwall painted pottery mark from the Newlyn period in black, c1970-1983, also showing Sue Lowe's artist mark.
• Troika England black painted maker's mark from the Newlyn period, c1970-1983.
• Troika Cornwall England painted pottery mark in black from the Newlyn period, c1970-1983. Also includes Anne Lewis' initials indicating she was the decorator of this piece.
• Alison Brigden joined the Cornish Troika pottery in Newlyn from school in 1977, and became the senior decorator in 1981 to 1983.
• Avril Bennett was a decorator in Newlyn at the Troika pottery from 1973-1979.
• Annette Walters was a decorator at the Cornish pottery Troika during the late 1970s.
• Anne Jones was a part time decorator from 1976 to 1977 when Troika were based in Newlyn Cornwall.
• Anne Lewis joined the Cornish Troika pottery from school in 1966/1967 when they were based in St. Ives, Cornwall. She worked as a decorator while they moved sites to Newlyn then left in 1972.
• Beverley Ellwood worked as a decorator at Troika when they were based in Newlyn in the early 1970s.
• Benny Sirota one of the founders of the St.Ives based Troika Pottery. Mark used c1963-1980.
• Holly Jackson joined the Cornish Troika pottery when she was 16 years old, in 1977, and stayed as a decorator until 1978.
• Jane Fitzgerald joined the Troika pottery from school in 1976 when they were in Newlyn Cornwall. She stayed until 1983 as a decorator.

• Judith Illsley worked as a decorator at Troika during 1980. She was married to Leslie Illsley one of the founders of Troika.
• Linda Hazel was a decorator at Troika during the early 1970s when they were based in Newlyn Cornwall.
• Linda Taylor - decorator at Troika from the late 1960s when it was based in St. Ives, to the early 1970s after they moved to Newlyn.
• Marilyn Pascoe started as a decorator at Troika when it was based in St. Ives in the late 1960s. She worked with them during the move to Newlyn and left in 1974.

• Penny Black (Roland) worked at the Troika pottery when it was originally based in St. Ives Cornwall in the 1960s through to when it moved to Newlyn. She remained decorating at the pottery in Newlyn until c1976.
• RL - This decorator from the Cornish pottery Troika is currently unknown.
• Shirley Warf worked as a decorator at Troika pottery in Newlyn Cornwall from 1979 to around 1980.
• Simone Kilburn joined the Troika pottery in Newlyn Cornwall straight from school in 1975. She worked as a decorator until 1977.
• Sue Lowe worked as a decorator at the Troika pottery when it was in Newlyn Cornwall from 1976 to 1977.
• This is the decorating mark of Sylvia Vallence who worked at the Troika pottery from 1967 to 1969 when it was based in St. Ives Cornwall.
• Teo Bernatowitz worked at Troika in Newlyn Cornwall around 1974.
• Tina Doubleday was a decorator at Troika in Newlyn Cornwall from 1977 to 1979. (Recently updated, thanks to Cornish Ceramics)
