Pottery Appraisal and Valuation Service

If you have a piece of pottery similar to any of the items on our site, we can provide you with an appraisal containing:

You might simply be interested in learning more about your piece, or you may have acquired a piece you are unsure about, or wish to sell. A valuation and appraisal can be useful for a number of reasons, and although we are unable to offer insurance valuations, our service is a quick and easy way of finding out whether your piece might need insuring.

The cost of our valuation service is £6.95, payable through Paypal only.

Requests for appraisals or valuations should be sent to:

If possible, please include pictures of your item, showing its shape, pattern and the markings to its base. Please also include the dimensions and condition of your item.

Upon receipt of your request, we will assess the information and photographs you have provided to ensure that we are able to provide a meaningful and accurate appraisal of your piece. If we are happy that we can do this, we will send you a Paypal invoice for £6.95.

We guarantee that you will receive our completed appraisal document (including valuation) by email within 5 working days of receipt of your payment.
